Humana has announced they will be exiting the Employer Group Commercial Medical Market over the next 18-24 months. Although you are still insured (until Mid- 2024 if you renew in 2023 before October), it is never to early to think about your options going forward.

Help Build Hope
The Building Industry Charitable Foundation (BICF) is partnering
with CrossRoads Missions and Help Build Hope for a Great Day of Service on April 19th. BICF members “Help Build Hope” as walls are framed for 3 Habitat for Humanity Homes this year. Mayor Craig Greenburg stopped by to thank those participating this year, take a look at how we came together to construct the walls for three homes for flood victims in Eastern Kentucky.

Showcase of Residential Communities
Calling all BIA Members with new homes in Residential Communities!
April 24th-May 7th the BIA of Greater Louisville will produce the 2023 Showcase of Residential Communities. This is a specialized marketing program designed to promote and feature new home ownership through the promotion of new homes in residential communities and developments throughout the greater Louisville.

Building Institute Graduation
1st Ever Graduation Ceremony! 4.26.2023
The Building Institute of Greater Louisville will host its first ever graduation ceremony for six students who began their Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) training program in October 2022. The event will be held at the Building Industry Association in the lower level classroom at 1000 N. Hurstbourne Parkway. Our graduates have been working in the trade during the day while attending the evening program, providing the total experience necessary to complete the Kentucky Journeyman licensing exam in half the typical time.
The ceremony is sponsored by Ms. Kimberly Greenwell from My Southern Home. She will recognize the top graduate with a special presentation. The ceremony will be attended by Rick Rand, Commissioner of the Department of Housing, Buildings, and Construction.
